Leeds Social Centre Stormed by Police

The A-Spire social centre was stormed by police in the early hours of Sunday morning. Hundreds of people were partying as the police used tear gas and pepper spray to crush all opposition.
A-Spire is a temporary squat that happens regularly in leeds. A space for parties, meeting and workshops. We knew that the court case had been lost but had no idea that the police would act with this brutality.
The eviction of A-Spire was almost certainly illegal. While we all know that upholding the law means nothing to the police it is a sign of the threat the police felt A-Spire to be that they would use such methods to clear the building.
I think that we need to keep the initiative and hold a public demonstration against police brutality as soon as possible. What do other people think?
