It is obvious that we can't rely on the BBC or any other mainstream media to get out a message of support for the Fire Fighters but that is no reason to resort to homophobic language. We need to build support for the strike in all oppressed communities and dirrect peoples anger to where it belongs: the blair government that is willing to spend millions on killing Iraqi's but will not offer those who save lives a decent wage. Don't forget that radical gay and lesbian groups raised thousands of dollars for the striking miners in the eighties by bucketing at dance clubs and other gay/lesbian events and in the process caused alot of miners to rethink their ideas about who their enemy is. In my humble oppinion what this world needs is more solidarity and more fellatio.
