Apartheid Victims Sue Global Corporations

A lawsuit has been filed in New york against 20 global companies that supported apartheid South Africa.


IBM and Fujitsu supplied technology that allowed the South Africa government to operate it's system of 'passbooks' used to control the black population. Citicorp bank lent money to maintain the government's high level of police and military expenditure.
Jubilee South Africa says "The corporations aided and abetted a crime against humanity whose persistent social damage requires urgent repair,"
