Truth and Lies in Bagdad

PhillC | 17.11.2002 21:49

Channel 4, 9pm - Dispatched reporter Sam Kiley travels to Iraq to report on Saddam Hussein's barbarity

A clear propoganda messages from those intent on waging war against Saddam.

While reporting on brutalities in Iraq, Kiley makes threatening overtones of his own. Regardless of whether Kiley's points are based on fact, while being ushered around a supposed white cake factory he tells one of the workers not to push him "or I will break your arm."

A statement like this does Kiley's reporting no good and certainly subtracts from whatever point of view he is attempting to publicise. What right does an English journalist, a guest in a foreign country, have to threaten others in this manner ?

Shame, Sam Kiley, shame.

I could name two dozen countries who violate human rights, including the USA - but hey, let's all point the finger at Saddam, so we can bomb Iraq!!

Just remember ...

Just remember that these press scumbags are more or less payed by us, either through licensing, tax breaks or advertising revenue generated whenever WE buy anything.
The media distorters are behoven to us.
Make them pay it all back.
All the lies and the distortions they thrust upon us will rebound on them in the end, especially if we all make ourselves loud and a nuisance, not only in their work place, but borrowing a tactic from them, at their homes also.
How dare they parade their lies to us so brazenly, do they think they are above natural justice?
