Can we thank the arrogance of covert op policy makers for the creation of HIV / AIDS?  One shouldn't scream "conspiracy theory" without looking into the dark history.  Some of Dr. Len Horowitz's work is likely incorrect, but some of it is in keeping with evidence discovered by others.   

This is a Paranet Continuum radio interview of Dr. Horowitz, aired back on March 14, 1999.  The commercials and the intro to the program have been edited out since they're not relevant years later -- and to save you some time.  They mostly talk about Horowitz's book, Emerging Viruses; AIDS & Ebola; Nature, Accident, or Intentional?

This is the first in-depth exploration into the origins of HIV and Ebola. Aids and Ebola came from Africa!

Both aids and ebola came from Africa! Aids came from a disease that infected green monkeys in Africa that crossed the species barrier and ebola orignated in central Africa thought to be carried by bats, its varient Marburg disease has similar symptoms but is less fatal and was discovered in Kenya a few years before. These emerging diseases are more a result of the opening up of central Africa by cross African highways which bring people into contact with speices of animals and insects they have never be in contact with before and some of these animals being carriers of deadly diseases which can jump the species barrier.

There was a conversation reported to an agent of international communism before 1958 which contained the phrase "There is a disease that will decimate black people because they are dirty" and in the vocabulary of that quoted white South African secret Fascist, dirty means promiscuous.

It is a pretty good fit for AIDs is it not? And South Africa knew the effect in 1954. It must have been identified much earlier. American work probably follows an African source. I.
