David Modell approached the BNP back in February; his line was that he wanted to produce a documentary on real people in the BNP and what the party was really about. He openly mocked the Panorama show and told us he wished to make something different, not a BNP manifesto by any means, but a show that really told the public what the BNP was all about and cut through the usual media hysteria and lies.

Now after 8 months of filming with David, I have to say I am deeply upset, but not only with the programme, but also with the way in which David wormed his way into to so many peoples lives and the way in which he deceived us only to cobble together the usual run of the mill rubbish.

8 months is a long time, that is the first thing I have to say. In 8 months any normal person has ups and downs, highs and lows. Any person falls out with and makes up with people in his or her life and anyone over an 8 month period would say or do at least one thing that he or she wouldn't usually do or say and subsequently regrets or feels ashamed of.

However this was not an average 8 months, and I am not an average person. In the 8 months I spent with David I had my University Finals, Stood as a candidate in Harehills in Leeds as well as was given the job of organising Bradford as subsequent organisers had given in due to the stress it had caused them. But wait, those three events all happened in a period of roughly 1 month, at which point I was also in a useless and emotionally draining relationship with a girl who can best be described as a complete emotional wreck. However I still had a camera behind me at all times.

The following months were no easier and included moving house, graduating, breaking up with said girlfriend, putting together a new BNP publication alone as well as organising Camp Excalibur 2002, helping with the RWB and revamping the way local leaflets were produced, not just in Leeds but all over Britain. Whilst all of this was happening I had David sitting on my shoulder.

Yet in these 8 months David has chosen to focus on every low, every moment of anger or slight depression in an effort to make me look like some psychotic fool.

But why did I do this documentary, why would anyone agree to working with a journalist for this length of time? Well, this is simple; I wanted to show the general public what we are REALLY like. I gave my heart and soul to this; I invited David into my home, both in Leeds and with my parents in Leicester, I allowed to him access to everything including my graduation, not many people would have but I desperately wished for him to put together a balanced view of myself and the party. Instead he chose not to.

But why did I trust him? David went to extreme lengths to make it look like he was a nice guy, from giving me money when I was financially hard up due to moving house right through to taking my sister out for a meal and telling her how he had loved working with me and wanted to keep in touch as he thought we were such good friends! So I let him cover my life for 8 months and he betrayed me, and the dozens of other people who cooperated with him and trusted him.

But why did the BNP allow him such access to the party and myself. Well it's simple, we have nothing to hide and we are normal people. In fact David had to spend 8 months with me to get a few "dodgy quotes" which he got off camera when he posed very open ended and very well thought out questions. One in particular stands out even now, he had previously worked on a documentary about Loyalists in Ulster and often spoke of Leaders such as Johnny Adair, at one point he said he had met him and spoke of him in a very glamorous way, at which point I replied that I wouldn't mind meeting him. Now, I am paying for that and so is the party.

But however bad you think you feel about all this, you cannot feel as bad as me. I gave this my all in a time of stress and heartache to show the BNP in a positive light, I have failed the party and myself, however I have learned very valuable lessons. The most important is that people like David will never understand us and they will never see why we oppose multiculturalism, for their idea of multiculturalism is living in an all white area and going to a Chinese takeaway on a weekend. They don't live amongst Mosques and gangs of militant non-white youths.

But there was one thing that stood out to me in all this and that was the front page of the Times magazine, on it there was a very unflattering picture of me and behind me towered a huge almost finished Mosque. To David and the rest of the liberal elite the Mosque stood as a symbol of brilliance and culture towering over a bigoted young man, in reality that Mosque towers over the community, changing the skyline of a once proud working class area and further removing the British way of life from another part of our beautiful nation. In reality most whites fled from this area years ago, as they are fleeing from the advancing tide of coloured immigrants all over Britain. In the liberal mind I was the thing out of place on that page, but in the minds of millions of normal people it was the other way round, and David knows that, and that's exactly why he has done this, one party stands as this Nations great white hope, one party stands up to this multicultural nightmare and one party stands up to the extermination of British people in their homeland, and David Modell and his friends will do anything they can to stop you joining it.
