Italian Sunday papers are reporting people being stopped and searched and turned back at the Italian borders.
The french italian border seem to be where all the action has been , lot of french activists coming across .

"black bloc" german branch are already in the country .

"no global" ( seems to be the most popular description) have taken over a small town, Greggio, in the province of Vercelle , northern Italy .The activists are camping in an factory / building site and at the moment the cops are leaving them alone.
Big controls also at chiasso on the swiss border, "they are stopping everyone" said a local bar tender " i went out to dump the rubbish , got stopped and had to show my documents"
