LET'S OPEN DOORS OF DEMOCRACY
Let's defend the right of everybody to demonstrate and meet at the ESF in Florence (despite Berlusconi's governement)

LET'S OPEN DOORS OF DEMOCRACY

Minister of Interiors and Berlusconi's governement are attempting to cancel the rights of political meeting and of demonstration during the European Social Forum in Florence.
One of the most important battles in Europe nowadays is that against the absurd of frontiers: why goods, drugs, weapons and pollution can cross borders and people should not? Actually this happens everyday for what concerns migrants from outside eastern countries and, during ESF italian government wants that this happens also for what concerns political opposition, exactly what happened during fascism.
We have to fight this!
On friday the Movement of disobedients announced to the media in Italy that movements will guarantee their vigilance and action on frontiers to avoid italian authorities to not let people from abroad enter in Italy during the ESF days.
Obviously it's a political announce with which we try to open a serious and larger debate in Italy and in Europe about the absurd of frontiers, but also a way to start the meeting of Florence focusing the fact that the militarization of frontiers is part of Permanent Global War.
The proposal to the brothers and sisters from abroad, and particularly from Slovenia and Croatia, who intend to come to Italy for the ESF, is to organize a meeting on the frontier of Gorica (Casa Rossa Border) for wednesday 6th november at 3.00 PM, in which concentrate people from italian movements and the caravans coming from abroad. This will happen also in the port of Ancona and in Ventimiglia.
