The Independent Student Media Project (www.ismproject.net) is a new activist website based in the UK. The launch issue has just been published, and features news and research on ‘Big Picture’ Terrorism, the US role in Colombia, the 28 September demonstration, GATS and the Campaign to save the Cultural Studies department at the University of Birmingham. It also features articles on film, architecture and humour.

Independent Student Media is a collective of PhD students and writers based in London, Essex, Leeds and York.
