During these two days against the permanent global war we violated war laws in order to have humanity laws respected. We do not want to remain silent spectators. We hold the right, and also we need to risk, to disobey because witnessing is important but it isn’t enough.

The molizations follow the international mobilizations that saw all Europe demostrating and acting against global war. It is a movement trying to build real forms of rebellion, disobedience, disertion towards these death choices.
Yesterday in Bologna and in Padova we chose to sanction to Caterpillar branches, Cat helps Sharon murderer government, we symbolically stained bulldozers with Palestinian blood.

Today in Venice at 3.00 p.m. thirty disobedients occupied British Consulate terrace, and closed all entries. A radical action to protest against British government which is pushing for war against Iraq and to protest against this insane will of war that is threatening all the world. More than 150 joined the occupation expressing their solidarity to the thirty from the square below, prevented the police for entering the building.

First exit condition: an immediate meeting with British councellor , in which disobedients explain their reasons against permanent global war to be forwarded to UK government. Councellor and all the people occurred were able to hear the declarations. Sactions, cominig from below, towards anyone helping this tragedy taking place shall come in case of war.

Activists clearly told the councellor that the end of the protest was temporary and that in case of attack against Iraq, sanctions shall come to the British power symbol in Venice. Councellor listened and finally declared that he’ll forward the message.
Disobedients asked to come down from the building terrace without being identificated. This request was accepted and disobedients left the area demonstratin through Venice.
