When the Trotskists and anarchists have made HALF the contribution to the liberation struggle that people like Che have, then maybe we will listen to their criticisms.

Does it really matter so very much ? Isnt the important thing what our lasting achievements are ? Isnt this what Phillip Larkin meant when he said
"What will remain of us is love"

experience shows that if ernesto "che" guevara had made it back to cuba, that he would have been probably locked up. stalin would have had him killed.

Doing the dirty work of the bourgeoisie

When two leading members of the Cuban Union of Young Communists visited Britain earlier this year they said what happened when Cuba imported a number of encylopaedias from Spain for its schools. Under the entry for Che Guevara these books repeated the myth that Che left Cuba because he disagreed with Fidel Castro, so to correct the lie they stuck in a copy of Che's letter saying why he was leaving that gave the real reason: because he felt that the struggle against imperialism needed him elsewhere.
Its a pity that organisations like the the "Alliance for Worker's Liberty" reserve their strongest hatred for the forces of liberation, revolution and socialism, but act as apologists for Labours imperialist crimes. By acting in this way they have become part of the problem not part of the solution.
Ignore the snivellers, Che Guevara's anti-imperialist ideas are more important than ever!!
