"[Former US President] Lyndon Johnson once said that the day he looked out the window of the White House and saw 800,000 anti-war protestors was the day he knew the Vietnam war was over."

Lies and the media

As George Galloway told a BBC news presenter live on air, “you’ve been rumbled” - the British public don’t believe your coverage concerning Iraq anymore, it is biased and your questions and polls are slanted. She had a near panic attack at being confronted by the truth and began stuttering... but George demolished every “official” argument she attempted to offer. On Iraq’s alleged connections to Al-Qaeda, he reminded her that they are only present and protected in the UK/US controlled Kurdish northern no-fly zone. Saddam is neither religious nor a fanatic fundamentalist, unlike Bin Laden, or his neighbours in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran. There is nothing left in Iraq that hasn’t been a target in the past decade, hardly an outhouse still standing worth bombing and that can only mean one thing, it is the civilians who will be punished, while Saddam, like Bin Laden, will escape to a comfortable life in exile.
