I live in China, and was amazed to see a picture of and story about the 28/9 London anti-war protest in a local chinese-language newspaper, the Qingdao Daily. opinion is generally anti-War here, and it's good to see that oeple are finding out that not all Westerners have the same opinions as Bush and Blair.
I was there (with half a million others), and could not believe that the largest demonstration in this country for many years (plus many others worldwide at the same time) about the most current topic today - the iraq war, got only seconds of coverage on every tv news channel.On one hand this makes me feel sad and disheartened, on the other hand, it is yet another profound lesson to me (and us all)that the media is not to be trusted, and that the people who pull the strings in this world dont give a shit about the people, are liars in the cause of murder, and need to be removed.
