On Saturday 28th September, I joined up to 400,000 demonstrators to protest against Bush and Blair's 'War On Iraq'.
I was astounded by the turnout. It was overwhelming! And for the first time in months, I could feel pround to be Brtitsh.
Demonstrators from all races, backgrounds, political and religious beliefs had turned out in unity. It was wonderful!
The fact that there is no clear reason for this 'war', which will leave tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians dead, Bush has no legal right to press ahead with the plan, under international law.
Nobody doubts the fact that Saddam is a tirant. Both to the Kurds and his own people, but does this mean he poses a threat now, in the year of 2002? I personally think not.
Why are Bush and Blair proposing to attack Saddam NOW? The actions of Septemebr 11th have given Baseball-headed Bush and Barmy-bomber Blair the green light to go on the rampage!
Where will this terrorist 'war on terrorism' go next? Saudi Arabia? Iran? China?
September 11th was a disaster waiting to happen, but a mere pinch of salt in comparison to the followed evil and reckless bombing of the Afghan civilians which left over 8,000 innocent people dead.
Isreal has flouted UN rules for the past 50 YEARS! They have refused to allow U.N. weapons inspectors into their country, oppressed and massacred Palastinian people (which includes women and children) and have seized holy land which was never their own in the first place.
Ariel Sharon Bush's kind of terrorist. The pro-U.S terrorist!
I hope this anti-war demonstration, (which I was extremely proud to be involved with) will send shock waves through Mr. Blair, our puppet leader and the next worse thing to Adolf Hitler, Mr.Gerorge Dubya Bush himself!
