anti war demo

I was surprised by how big it was. It's only my second demo. It was a bloody fantastic day. I feel sad thinking about children in Iraq and Palestine. It was good to see lots of kids there today. (I am 9, by the way.)

A Fantastic Day....A Powerful Message

Let's keep up the pressure on Blair!
The day was described as a "Trotskyist Day Out" complete with a few "gullible" hangers-on. Far from it, it was a snapshot of the great British public telling the world that they don't support illegimate wars of greed.

Wide cross section of sociey attended

There was a really good cross section of society at the demo this time. The last anti war demo I went on was domionated by Islamics. This time there were people from all over the country all united in opinion at a fudamental level. The Islamic contingency was again massive but it was refreshing to see pople come out and protest essientiall about not wanting to kill and mush as not wanting to be killed. Some focused on the oil issue, and many on the Palestine occupation; most people I spoke to were agreed that both were the major issues. There were pleny of banners making both points. A fair few too on the hipocracy of the US.

Message to the christian majority in the US:

STOP SHOWING US YER BUSH

AND TURN THE OTHER CHEEK.
