This evening the fence enclosing the top of Crystal Palace Park was torn down. At a candle-lit vigil, organised in protest against Bromley Council's enclosure of part of the park, people began to pull off the plywood hoardings and enter the park. Around 50 people, mostly local residents, joined in to reclaim their park, and before long, a long stretch of the fence lay on the ground.
