Fanfiction.net, one of the biggest online repositories of fanfiction in the world, has just descended into the realms of censorship and infringement of free speech. They have banned any and all NC-17 rated material from the site. Not surprisingly, a large number of authors whose work is archived on the site are outraged by this decision. Please sign the petition (linked to in this article) and in doing so state that you are against any form of censorship. We believe that the Internet should be free from censorship and that people should be allowed to both post and read whatevre they like. Please support our view.
