The Israeli army has said that its soldiers were acting correctly when they killed 12 Palestinians - including several children - in three separate incidents over the past two weeks.

Not sure if the last post was constructive...

I am against the Israeli occupation and the murder of innocents... So, in terms of the textual element of the post, that is great... But I do have a problem with these pics...

The Satire War thing was great... If a little inaccurate. But I do have a problem with some of the ones focusing on Israel... 'Born to be a Murderer'... Kind of gives the impression that all Israels from birth have the sole goal to murder Palestinians... This is obviously bullshit. Secondly, the depiction of Israelis as monster- or devil-like creatures...Kind of harking back to the days of anti-semitic nazi propaganda, me thinks...

Anyways... Thanks for the textual posting anyway.

Basically, made the mistake of typing www.indymedia.co.il instead of www.indymedia.org.il ..... The result was not terribly inspiring as you can see for yourself.

indymedia.co.il is hilarious if taken with a pinch of salt! sad thing is, they are probably serious. i wonder why they chose that domain name though.

Latuff is sometimes bitterly funny in his parodies, but usually not. He must draw like a fucking machine though to have a couple ready each day. His Israel-related ones are too extreme to show understanding of what is going on. Red monsters with claws and rocket launchers are Israelis? ya mefager - Don't be stupid!

How does a photo of what is clearly meant to be a member of the IDF, the stormtroopers of the illegal occupation, "give the impression that all Israeli's from birth have the sole goal to murder Palestinians"?

Answer.

It doesn't. It's just a caricature of the IDF.

And it also doesn't depict Israeli's "as monster- or devil-like creatures".

It depicts an IDF soldier in such terms.
