Any Accomodation

Any place to crash for those coming from outside of London?

From far away

Yes just bring a sleeping bag and a tent

17.09.2002 23:18

Yes there are places to crash in LOndon, there is a big camping site at Crystal Palace Park which is quite cheap. This is a long way out though. You coulod also try fly camping in the bushes on Hampstead Heath or Hackney Marsh or Burgess Park in south London. Burgess Park is quite near central London and has a couple of overgrown spot where you could hide a tent and camp.

Maybe there could be a noticeboard for those wishing to stay overnight to find some friendly soul?

There should be opportunities for people to crash from Friday night - provided they lend a helping hand.
Ideally, helpers should attend the volunteers meeting at 6pm Friday night at the venue.
The location will be made public Fri afternoon on Indymedia or on through 07931 560 569.

Police have surrounded the venue!

21.09.2002 17:25

There is a large police presence around the venue with police at the entrance and at every probable exit. People are needed now to go up to the venue to prevent the event being stopped by the police as they might try to stop the party later this evening!
