UK and US jets bomb Iraqi defences

Last night’s raid was the 35th air strike reported this year by the Anglo-American coalition put together to patrol zones in the north and south of Iraq following the 1991 Gulf War.
Tony Blair has made this decision to go commit troops to war, without parliamentary and democratic consent or approval, but he won’t be in the line of fire, only conscripts of Saddam’s army, young soldiers from the UK and US and of course plenty of innocent civilians, but he is prepared to play a ‘blood-price’ for his loyalty to Bush.
Blair insists he will change people’s minds in favour of war, when the “time comes.” Does that mean we will have our very own 9/11 to change public opinion? Is it a veiled threat? What else could convince the British electorate that it is “the right thing to do” when we know otherwise?
Hopefully it only means endless ‘double-speak’ and propaganda like the recent comments from Jack Straw.
