In the last weekend of September (27-29 September), Antiracist Initiative of Thessaloniki (Greece) organizes its 5th Antiracist Festival, in co-operation with various political groups, labor unions and immigants' communities of the city. It is going to take place in the premises of the University Campus. We want this festival to be a live event that concerns all the people of our city. This year, awareness and involvement of greek citizens, immigrants and refugees is more important than ever, since the political and social situation becomes harder for all the people in Europe and especially for the immigrants and refugees .

During the three days of the festival there will be discussions concerning racism, European policy for immigrants and refugees, the problems of immigrants in Greek society etc. Besides the discussions, cultural activities will take place, including music, cinema, theater, ethnic cuisine etc.
