Reminder for London pickets of Marks and Spencer in support of the Intifada this week

M&S PICKETS!

M&S Marble Arch (Oxford Street)

This Thursday 6-8pm

This Saturday 12-2pm

We’ve faced down the police and the Zionists, to establish our right to be there. Now let’s continue to build the pickets.

Our goals are clear:

Ø to reveal the history of M&S’s support for Zionism

Ø to make a powerful public statement in support of the Intifada

Ø to get more people involved in serious activism.

The time could not be more urgent. You’ve heard the news of sixteen dead in Gaza, mostly children. The Labour Government supplied the parts. M&S helped fund the attack. If we do not act to end this barbarity, we too are complicit.

So get real. Get active.

Let’s build the kind of movement that actually will make a difference.

Join the M&S Pickets!

Advertise this action on more websites!!!

These actions are excellent but need to be far more widely advertised as most enough people are turning up for them. These actions need to be advertised on as many website messages boards as possible not just this one! Most community websites have a politics or news forum where it can be advertised. Also how about leafleting local Mosques on a Friday like the huge Regents Park Mosque and Whitechapel Mosque as most Muslims support the Intafada and would probably turn up to support this action!

Also how about organising a mass picket of Marks and Spencer from 5pm to 7pm on Saturady the 28th of September after the anti-war demonstration in nearby Hyde Park when we could get thousands of people for a mass picket!
