No Sweat, the UK campaign against sweatshops, will be holding our own events as part of "Run London", exposing Nike's role in not only getting people to sweat on the streets of London, but also due to poor working conditions in their Niketown shops, and on the factory floors where their clothes and shoes are made, for example in Indonesia. We will be taking part in the Run London event "from the inside" (i.e. running) and also from the sidelines...

One of the things we are doing is subvertising/adbusting Nikes ads for the event. See the No Sweat website at  http://www.nosweat.org.uk for details on how you can get some massive posters with the slogan "No to Nike Naked Greed" which you *might* want to post over Nikes ads on your local high street.

We're also running a competition for the best slogans to subvertise Nikes ads with.

The Nike ads on the London underground go "I'm running London on Sept 22 because..." and the final part of the slogan is "hand-written". Perfect for subvertising!

We'll try and put the best anti-Nike slogans (as they say "in 15 words or less") on some stickers and display them big and huge on the Run LOndon event at Richmond Park.
