Lets face it, its not as if theres so much happening every day that theres no room for the occsional analysis or item of interest.

More likely to loss readers without 'weeding'

Comment and analysis is great but I for one get really pissed of when looking for news on the newswire only to find that every other page I await to download is infact yet another slag off of the SWP or race baiting or more conspiracy ranting. There is room enough on the Internet for all these things but the IMC newswires were set up to provide a space for independent and grassroots news coverage of important issues. Comments can be made about news reports but THIS IS NOT A MESSAGE BOARD.
I know plenty of people who have given up using Indymedia because of the high noise to signal ratio and I think the concept is to important to see it turn to shit.
