An article promoting all the positive aspects of cultural diversity, both in the UK and worldwide, in an attempt to counteract the Nazi filth thats been polluting the newswire these past few days.

WE ARE ALL ONE RACE. We may have different shapes, sizes, and colours, but the fact remains, we all belong to the same species, Homo sapiens. However, listen to some of the fascists who have polluted the newswire with their filth over the past few days and the would have you believe that one culutre/race (mainly White, European and Christian) are inherently superior to other cultres, and Asian, Muslim people are often singled out as inferior, along with the Jews who want to wipe out everyone else off the face of the planet. It is well past time to set the record straight. First of all, we as a human race originate from one common origin, in Africa. Since we originate from Africa, it is quite likely that the first humans were black, and every other race, inculding whites, decended from them. This pretty much drives the "whites are superior" argument down the toilet. If non-whites are so thick, what are the Asian, Oriental and black students doing at my university? If anyone is inherently inferior it's the hypocitical racist scumbags who write this crap. I happen to know one Asian student who is one of the nicest, caring people I have ever met, and it just makes me think: racism is just plain stupid, and racist people are in a way blind as they are unable to see the beauty within, so everybody else should feel quite sorry for them.

The original homo-sapiens came out of Africa as this post does say and in Europe they mixed with and bred with the less intelligent, less evolved neanderthals.
Therefore if either the whiteman or blackman is superior it would actually be the blackman from Africa who isn't related at all to the Neanderthal.
Anyway I'm off now to scratch my neanderthal ar*e.

Like Pete I think its likely that Africans (especially those who came through the 400 year survival of the fittest that was New World plantation slavery) probably are the strongest, brightest, most resilient people on the planet. If there is a master race, it probably has a brown or black skin.

I grew up in the fifties on sixties on Cowboy / WW2 films
until I was about 18 I guess I went along with the story,the indians were the baddies and the cowboys were the goodies , they always won in the end and invariably got the woman ..
The WW2 stuff was much of a much.

Now days it's Black hawk, before that it was Rambo, most of todays blockbusters are more of the same hollywood propaganda.

But please, please, all of you, do not fall into the equally stupid inverse racialism exhibited here ! If we are indeed one race (true) its a bit pointless to dispute whether black or white appeared first (and you can hold endless symposia on this). Anyway, As Marx spent his entire career pointing out, the main human problem in actuality is class; solve that one, and no more racialism. ! Its an oddly open secret that most racial forms have economic aspects. Slavery in the Southern States, Apartheid in S Africa, Enoch Powell in GB, all had economic exploitation at the centre of the racialism. Of course it was immoral, but the resulting moral outcry has tended to mask the economic side of the question, and that needs to be considered.

I don't happen to believe the flawed theory of evolution, I don't believe any of us are evolved from apes, or that all races originally came from one primate in Africa. The Universe is a BIG place... you don't really think human beings are it's only inhabitants and the most advanced species?

Civilizations have risen and fallen, whole continents have sunk in hoary antiquity, but I do believe we are all here, on Earth, in the same stinking, sinking ship and a mega tsunami is coming, so fuck petty debates on race and lets all pull together, or die together.

I don't think it makes much different to the poor starving people of the world wether they pay for the education of the radical chic types or the right wing wide boys BMW.
To me there is a different the right wing guy is more than likely a racist bigot and has "I'm a cunt" written on his forehead. RE Thomas there are lots of Minorities at UK univerity's. I spent a couple of years at Warwick before being forced to drop out due to huge debts (and my own apathy) and i have to say that that was not the situation there. although there were lot's of wealthy foreign students there were very few black or Asian people from the UK. I do not for a moment suggest that this is due to a lack of a intelligence but rather that it has to do with Socio-economic factors and institutional Racism.
Somthing else that i have been musing for a while is that if the most recent projections on climate change are correct (Warming in the Arctic causes a disruption in the Gulf stream flow leaving N Europe with a climate more usual at this Latitude- ie fucking cold like N Canda)
Then there will be thousands (Millions?) of displaced North Europeans looking to Emigrate. And if your going to Emmigrate then that means you have to be a immigrant somewhere, Somewhere like Africa say.
And I know what I would say to this influx of illegal immgration if I was a African given the way that we treat them at the moment.

It seems to be a Western pre-occupation to paint Africa as the dark continent, where "culture is stagnating" and people are living in chaos. The fact is that the first universities were built in Mali, Zanzibar was one a major international trading hub, Zimbabwe and Ghana had large and sophisticated empires, Benin invented women's liberation a thousand years before whites, the Pharoes possessed a civilisation far more advanced than Europe at the same time, the Shona and Zulus were highly advanced military strategists, etc, etc.

The reason why Africans were enslaved and oppressed by Europeans was purely due to the European invention of gunpowder that gave whites military supremacy and therefore the chance to build empires. Africa's downfall continues to be Western business interests and the influx of Western arms.

If you think that the height of civilisation is the ability to commit mass murder more efficiently than others, then give me the noble savages of Africa any day.

I am aware of the number of minorities in our univeristies, and I myself know personally many black and Asian students at Keele University who permanently live in the UK. I am using this fact to debunk the "ethnic minorities are less intellegent" argument put foward by Nazi gits like 1st_amendment who have been blighting the newswire over the past week.

By the way, could someone on IMC remove the 1st_amendment comment as this racist trash is exactly what I am talking about, and it has no place anywhere, especially not on IMC. Pete and cleo's comments are also racist as they make out that blacks are superior, and in my books that is just as bad as saying whites are superior. You cannot have one rule for one race and one rule for another.

HOHO the humour was lost. I was providing an intolerant antithesis to the insanity of the earlier comments.
Attempting to demonstrate that the extremist opinions on race demonstrated by earlier commentators was as bad as the comments of your so called enemy 'the right'...
Thou clearly that sort of complex play on 'devils advocacy' was lost on the brain washed masses of indymedia.
Look at my nick... I'M here for one reason... to try and encourage freedom of speech for those with all political ideologies and opinions... as indymedia really has begun to impose its own 'insidious' brand of cencorship on what people can and cannot 'say' in reply to newswire articles.

Remember... you guys villify the right and say that fascism = control of the people. But on the same level your own brand of marxism/socialism is supporting the very things that you claim are inheritently bad about fascist ideology.... (media control and censorship, intolerance, even as demonstrated in the above comments, racism, and hatred of your own race)...

Why the arguing?? The human race has to be the STUPIDEST race on the planet. We talk. What's the point, most of the the time we're not actually saying anything. We create. Yes but only to destroy. We have the most advanced brains of any species. Yes, but we only use a third of it. All this human "progression" has taught us is to hate someone because they are different. Creed. Race. Sex. Anything we can. Why?? Because it makes us feel higher than we are.
