Picket Colombian embassy on Wednesday 7 August

On Wed Aug 7 the new narco-paramilitary Colombian president will take office. Fromn 5-7pm there will be picket of the Colombian embassy at 3 Hans Crescent Knightsbridge London (back of Harrods)

In Bogota 20,000 security personnel including some from the UK it is rumoured will be making sure the inauguration ceremony goes 'safely'. The new president Alvaro Uribe Velez threatens to intensify yet further the war. He is a politician with links going back a while with paramilitary formations and through his family with the drugs cartels of old.
The protest is backed by the Colombia Solidarity Campaign, Colombian Refugee Association and Collective against US intervention in Latin America.
