who decides to shout their mouth off on the newswire instead off going to the e-mail to question why it was hidden or whether it was a mistake. Why not join the features as people are welcome to do (takes the workload off the people who do it) and contribute positively rather than the 'hide this you fucks' comment.

In terms of the article it was not incredible and it was a repost from mainstream. That is ok and can be useful but why not go to the e-mail and contact the Indymedia maintainers first?

indymedia used to have decent news for activists on it. Now it's full of shit from lunatics like dwight heet (dh) who post all of their bollocks conspiracy shit (or Guardian reposts!!) here.

Get rid of all of it and make indymedia a decent resource once more!

I can see that having an open live newswire is a fine balance between allowing all the mad stories about; poison trails across the sky to block out all the actual political news.

If everyone send better posts and stopped complaining when a stupid story is hidden because it has no place on this site, then it would start moving towards attacting better stories...

I agre with the second post above; lets help them out as this is a great site, and stop slagging them off, i am sure they would welcome help - which could just be people thinking a bit before they post a comment; does it help the debate or does it start a flame war!
