Fair Tax on Aviation Fuel

Well, the UK government has repeated its wishes to see airports expanded, or new one's built. How long can this shortsightedness continue I ask? How long will we have to put up with congested skies over London and the South East? How long until aviation fuel is taxed fairly - like the fuel that goes in your train/bus/ferry/bicycle(food is fuel is taxable!)? How long will this unsustainable industry be subsidised by governments worldwide? Cheap flights? - They make me sick!
We all pay the price in the end, just because someone wants to be in the sun for a couple of weeks. Time to think local and act local - Time to organise resistance to this global menace.
Time for people to pay a fair price for their flights.

...and how long will the oil last to keep these planes in the sky...?
20-25 years, at most? Then what? Lots of wasted space occupied by former runways and airport terminals?!
