7:30 pm : meeting and discussion on organising locally to get as many people as possible to Florence in November.

Last week more info on the ESF became available: it is now clear that it is primarily funded by the regional and city governments (Florence / Tuscany), and that access will be restricted to those who sign its Charter.

The UK organisers are, according to their mailing list, considering inviting Bob Geldof and Anita Roddick as their main speakers.
