the CUBA SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN tent, with dancing drinking and essential information, was the most laid-back full-on party in the whole park - RESPECT!
from the website:
Starring at the Big Cuba Tent will be Omar Puente and Raices Cubanas, the UK-based Cubano oufit who always get everyone dancing. Alongside Raises Cubanas we will have a shoe shuffling set from Cubanito as well as further acts to be announced.
As well as live music, we will be featuring the best Latin DJs from Britain’s top Latin Clubs, including Club Clandestino and the legendary Dave Hucker. There will also be celebrity guests, children’s entertainers and a wide variety of food available from around the world.

Neither Wile E. Coyote, nor Castro...

Those on the left who simper pleasantly about Fidel Castro and the revolution, as if it wasn't simply a more degenerate version of the Batista regime, might like to take the advice of reactionaries and go live there. But I can change my mind. If someone can prove to me how it is that a socialist state can have children's bodies being used as sexual commodities by tourists in the hotels of Havana, then obviously I'll have to admit I'm missing something vital.
