Defiant fists were raised outside the Italian Embassy in London today by the victims of the Diaz raid in Genoa last year. The picket attracted activists from diferant strands of the movement who came to support the ongoing campaign for justice and to remember Carlo Giuliani who was murdered by the italian police a year ago. There were short speeches from the Genoa Justice Campaign, Refondaziona Comunista and an IMC activist who gave an important update on the situation in Genoa now. It seems that more evidence has come to light with regard to collusion between the Italian State and organised fascists who were used to infiltrate the direct actions. Also now there is clear evidence to suggest that petrol bombs found in Diaz were planted by the Italian Police. The picket ended with a minutes silence for Carlo.
