TODAY - police arrest anarchists, raid houses and hand out trumped-up charges

Today police have arrested more people and searched houses related to an action at the Israeli Tourism board and El Al offices on the 13th May, which entailed someone spraypainting the word "TERRORISTS" on the wall.

One woman was already arrested in conjunction with this action and was given the ridiculous charge of "violent disorder", which carries a penalty of up to five years imprisonment. The charge is even more stupid and vindictive when you take into account that at no point was any violence involved!

Police have been identifying people from CCTV footage from the lobby of the office building. However it is very difficult to prove exactly who filmed individuals are so DON'T admit you were there - loads of people were convicted from J18 simply because they admitted to being people who were filmed.

Of course, none of the charges will hold water if they get to court, but it's still no fun to have your house searched or take days of school/work to go to court and hear cops perjure themselves.

We can only speculate as to why such excessive repressive measures are being taken.
