We are facing racism and a brand of fascism, and hope we
can link up with you.

Mid Beds Council, Tory run, is bent on "clearing"
the caravan park called >WOODSIDEWoodside< has until l Nov. So there is time to organize
effectively. Groups of supporters are being formed
in Luton, London and Cambridge ready to go at
short notice and oppose the eviction. Some will camp
overnight on Woodside..

Can you please let people know about this?
Can you give us some local contacts (members)
whom we could approach to join a supporters'
group?

This is no less than ethnic-cleansing UK style.

Our hopes are pinned on Parliament passing
the Traveller Law Reform Bill (first reading 10 July)
which would re-impose an oblication on local council to
build caravan sites and give backing to private (Romani-owned) caravan
parks.

So we feel by backing a determined stand now, over coming months,
we may bring attention to this issue and get the proposed Bill passed.
