So what Latuff is stating explicitly in this cartoon is that the struggle by the Palestinian people and in their defence against Zionist imperialism is in parallel to the annexation of Tibet by China which freed many, particularly women, from religious oppression? I suppose Latuff thinks that Chinese Maoism is no different in character to Zionist, capitalist imperialism?

it's about statist opposition to smaller autonomous communities and about acquisition of wealth and power to an ever diminishing few at the very top, isn't it?

Occupation and repression is wrong...

The occupation of a nation and the repression of its people is WRONG, period. No matter if it's Palestine, Tibet, West Papua, or whatever. Oh and Antid Oto, the occupation of Tibet by China has undermined a whole culture and way of life, and caused misery for the millions of Bhuddists who now cannot properly practise their beliefs.

Correction to Antid Oto's word

The occupation of Tibet by People's Liberation Army of China have never freed anything. I dont understand what makes you say the annexation freed women from religious suppression. Infact this brutal occupation of Tibet by China have not only tried to take our land but also trying to destroy our culture, Religion and our identity. They want more than our land, they want our soul. Still Tibet seeks peacefull resolution.
