Ken and The Board

G H Ujikop | 24.06.2002 18:25

Recent allegations about the Mayor of London also highlight a strange organization which seemingly has power to dismiss him.

Read the article link for more information. Does it have any ramifications for what's left of democracy in this country ? When the story first appeared, it was clear that most commentators hadnt even heard of it.

Anyone like to tell us about that other strange organisation involved in the London Assembly, or more exactly, in Ken's office? I'm talking about that weird Stalinist group "Socialist Action" which has worked wit h Ken for at least a decade, which he funds.

It seems to be the arbiter of standing legislation on local government. Although I deplore Livingstones political antics, I have no idea about what his personal life is like, but I think this Board of Standards sounds a little odd, to say the least

Before we all go and bleed out hearts out for good ole Ken we mustn't forget he was quite happy with the bombing of Afghanistan.

Thanks Ken.
Drinks are on the house.
