Is the trade justice movement any good?

It seems that those who protested at parliament today were in favour of removal of all 'barriers to trade' in favour of complete globalisation. personally i think localisation is the way forward for culture, the environmental, and a fairer wealth distribution. the fair trade lobby seem to support blairs dream of a wordlwide trade free-for-all.

Basically, I think the media couldn't be arsed to cover all the points the Trade Justice people were making, and so just assumed they were calling for total free trade.
After all, free trade must be good, innit?
