Year Zero for the Pigeons of Trafalgar Sq ?

Despite senseless attempts by the Mayor of London to eradicate them, the pigeons continue to be a tourist attraction in Trafalgar Sq.

Perhaps because they are the only non-corporate visitor attraction left in London, they are being singled out for zero treatment. Nobody ever made any money from them (except perhaps the guy who sold corn, and who lost his lisence last year) Reports suggest they will be subject to 'baiting, shooting and gassing' according to the Evening Standard yesterday.
