Some dates for your diary

Sun 15 June at the Kings Head, Clapton, Hackney we are holding an acoustic cafe alongside the river Lee from 7pm onwards. As well as enjoying a Sunday evening in a relaxed environment, it is a chance for you to find out about the No Borders camp at Strasbourg

The pub can be accessed from the path that runs alongside the river. There are two ways of doing this. Take either bus 55 or 48 to the Lee Bridge Rd and get off where the road crosses the river alongside Millfields Park. Walk along the towpath for a couple of minutes, next to James Latham's timberyard is the pub. Alternatively, take bus 106 or 253 to the junction of the Upper Clapton Rd and Northwold Rd. Opposite Northwold Rd is Mount Pleasant. Walk to the bottom, turn right along the towpath, pass under three bridges, until you comr to the pub.
