A jury in the American state of California has awarded $4 million to two environmentalists who claimed that the police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation tried to frame them for a bomb blast.
Darryl Cherney and the estate of Judi Bari - who died of cancer in 1997 - were awarded the money after 17 days of deliberations by the jury in a court in Oakland, northern California.
