The Plymouth Hunger strike by 7 Kurdish asylum seekers is now over. The seven men who have been on hunger strike protest since last Thursday morning have secured their victory over the Home Office by having their demands met.
Public meeting on Thursday at 7.30pm at Plymouth Guildhall still going ahead - as a victory rally!

I heard the news on the local radion

I heard this on the news bulletin on BBC Radio Devon, which I think is hourly, on 103.4FM if you are based in Plymouth (like me). I also think that the local TV news on Carlton West Country and BBC1's "Spotlight" would also have something.
