Where the fuck has young british feminism gone? I hope to fuck it hasn't gone 'out of fashion' because our sisters in the 60s/70s/80s did as much as they could but it was never going to be enough to reverse thousands of years' of oppression from patriarchal capitalism and religion -- we have SO MUCH TO DO!!!!

It is so obvious that women bear the brunt of not only childcare and providing food for their families [whatever shape those families may take] but also of debt, poverty, multi-nationals' wages and labour conditions, war, militarism, the sex industry and so on. I am not saying they're victims, fucks' sake, they cope so well, but they shouldn't have to. we should be standing shoulder to shoulder as sisters and changing the world for ourselves and future generations of both genders.
Under capitalism women are not only the consumers but also the products. Every day i see hundreds of idealised versions of my body staring back at me, imploring me to buy. Women's relationship to capitalism is different from that of men's and this needs to be addressed. By women -- cos men are never going to do this for us [yes, even if they are lovely anarchists!]
