Death 2 Internet Explorer! Viva La Mozilla!
Mozilla the premier, non-commercial, opensource alternative to the truly evil, and out right dangerous Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), has just hit version 1.0 . Mozilla is faster, more stable, much more secure, and far less invasive on your privacy then IE can ever hope be.
Because Mozilla's source code is freely available it will always be free, and transparent, meaning updates will not be at the will of any dollar addicted corporation, security flaws will not be covered up and ignored, but fixed ASAP, and versions will always be available for non Microsoft operating systems (Yes i know you can get IE for mac).
Just in case you think IE is just fine consider...
IE is NOT free, the price is passed on in the cost of Windows (which gets more expensive with every version).
IE is dangerous! the code is buggy and insecure. Countless security holes have been discovered and countless others are still waiting to be exploited. More to the point, do you have the latest IE patch ? the answer is probably not, because the latest hole was only discovered a few days ago. And this is only one of many in a very long line.
Now that the FBI, ASIO and the rest of the gang are out searching for terrorists on the internet do you you rely want your system left wide open?
