The police have engaged in mass arrests against people at the m'am event today. off the 50 people who turned up about 40 have been arrested (including approx 15-20 who were sitting in the pub!) for 'breach of the peace'. details of what has happened next are hard to come by. We know that some have been taken to stoke newington station (020 7739 1212), some have been taken to Islington (020 7704 1212) and some have been taken to Bishopgate (020 7601 2222). please phone these stations and try and put pressure on these stations to release those nicked. There are also many people who have been taken to other police stations, but we don't know where! (rumourdss point to Greenwich and possibly aldgate). all help is needed, try and find out where people are being held and try to put pressure on the authorities, wether by phoning, demonstarting outside etc. if you know anyone who went on this demo. then chances are they are currently in a cell somewhere. sorry
