Police used excessive force to violently arrest demonstrators who sat down on the bridge after we were told that we had to turn around and go back - our permit would expire before we could reach the other side. Police used pepper spray and grabbed people who tried to walk away.

Later they attacked us from behind in the parking lot, rushing us and pushing us so that we had to run or get knocked over. They grabbed a young Arab girl and dragged her across the road.
