Call for 911 Activism. Contact findtruth40@hotmail.com for full kit - contacts, etc. Notes from "Prisons We Choose To Live Inside" by Doris Lessing, which is to current activism what Sun Tsu is to Art of War. Read it! & Breathe better!
Subject Line: Make 9-11 An International Inquiry!
Even with the recent dramatic revelations in United States media and Congress of President Bush knowing of 9-11 strikes before the events of 9-11,
U.S. government and media are ignoring the mountain of much more disturbing evidence that points to likely complicity by the Bush Administration and elements of the CIA. Dan Rather, of CBS News, recently lamented he'd been guilty of participating in censored media, and unfortunately censorship continues in both media and government in the U.S.
The entire world has been pulled into a war effort to support power grabs for oil and political influence and domination worldwide -- in Africa, Latin America, Asia -- and to solidify unquestioned support and the use of European governments and troops.
It is time for a full-blown international inquiry into the events around 9-11 and possible collusion by the Bush Administration and elements of the CIA and the FBI.
We urge you to demand full inquiry into the 9-11 events and the Bush Administration and U.S. oil company interests that were allegedly involved in manipulating U.S. foreign policy for personal gain, as well as military industrial connections such as the Bush and Bin Laden families mutual interests in the Carlyle Group.

The necessity to retain an independent frame of mind, to fight received opinion and to resist the general drift into apathy is the subject of an eye-opening book: Prisons We Choose to Live Inside by Doris Lessing. The freedom of the individual is vital to democracy because it is only by permitting individuals to question and disagree that tyranny and ignorance will be defeated. It is essential that we examine 'ideas, from whatever source they come, to see how they may usefully contribute to our lives and to the societies we live in.'
Young people do not understand it; when they encounter the histories they ask: “How could this have happened?!” . . . we should all understand and expect these things, and build what we know from history and from the laws of society into how we structure our institutions. (p. 18)
One mass movement, each a set of mass opinions, succeeds another: for war, against war; against nuclear war; for technology, against technology. And each breeds a certain frame of mind: violent, emotional, partisan, always suppressing facts that don’t suit it, lying and making it impossible to talk in the cool, quiet, sensible low-keyed tone of voice which, it seems to me, is the only one that can produce truth.
At the same time, parallel, continues this other revolution: the quiet revolution, based on sober and accurate observations of ourselves, our behavior, our capacities. In a thousand universities, laboratories, or in deliberately contrived research situations, information is being collected which could, if we decided to use it, transform the world we live in. But it means making that deliberate step into objectivity and away from wild emotionalism, deliberately choosing to see ourselves . . . (p. 44) . . with a completely new attitude: detached, curious, patient, investigative that I think is the most valuable thing we have in the fight against our own savagery, our long history as group animal. (p 19-20)
