English-Language Web Site Reports on Argentina

A new web site features news, articles and commentary on the financial crisis and popular rebellion in Argentina.
A new web site, Argentina Now, ( http://argentinanow.tripod.com.ar) has been created to inform the English speaking world about current events in Argentina, where serious economic collapse and popular rebellion has challenged the neoliberal paradigm. The site includes original, reprinted and translated articles on the Piqueteros, Neighborhood Assemblies, and the International Monetary Fund's role in the Argentine crisis, as well as news updates direct from Buenos Aires.
Recently added news include a story about a successful bank sit-in by an elderly couple, an update on key IMF demands, and an article on children who are going hungry in the province of Tucuman. (We are in the process of posting the last two articles, so if they are not on the site yet, please be patient.)
The site was created by U.S. writer and Buenos Aires resident Lisa Garrigues, with technical assistance by Argentine editor and psychologist Roman Mazzilli. Both are members of the Neighborhood Assembly of Colegiales, in Buenos Aires.
We welcome submissions to the site.
