Excellent demo. Very big and lively. The march was still arriving in Trafalger Sq two hours after the people at the front got there so you can make your own estimate about numbers. The organizers estimate of 50,000 seems reasonable, if not even a bit low.

Police estimated 8000 people but it felt like at least 15000, but when your in a crowd it's hard to judge. Anyway next rally has to be better advertised to prevent a disapointing turn out.

i got the impression the organisers werent too happy with people taking fotos at all, whcih i suppose is understandable in the circumstances
