New Genoa Mobilization Photo Gallery needs your help

genoaResistance | 17.05.2002 19:15

As time passes more and more photos and documentation of the 2001 Anti-g8 Mobilization in Genoa are disappearing off the net. We have collected almost 1000 images and are looking for more.

genoaResistance in its efforts to document and preserve the legacy of Genoa has collected almost 1000 photos in our Photo Gallery , and we are asking for your help in collecting more and properly documenting the ones we have.

We are now particularly looking for photos about life in Genoa (eating, working, playing and the like), photos of solidarity actions outside of Genoa, photos of the August 20th demonstrations commemorating Carlo Giuliani, photos of border crossings and travel, as well as other photos of the lead up to the Mobilization. Also, we are looking for images of the Black Block attack on the Marrasi Prison as well as other Black Block actions not involving the trowing of Molotov Cocktails, and of the Pink and Silver Brigade, the Migrants March, and the Manu Chao concert.

If you have any photos or other media that you would like to submit please contact us or submit them directly through the gallery ‘Submit Media?feature. If possible include any copyright information, as well, a description of what the photo represents as well as its time and location. [If you find one of your photos in the archive, please contact us with that information as well]. We are also interested if you can help with the work by providing captions to the photos in our gallery.

As always, we are also interested in your stories of what you experienced in Genoa, and we look forward to your accounts, and any other contributions you would like to make.
