Brass Neck

Talk about ramming it down your throat?

Call me a prude, but I was fortunate enough only to catch a glimpse of Brass Eye's spoof on paedophilia and turned it off because it was so offensive and degrading to children who are the victims of sick sex offenders, but to my dismay, while flicking through the channels, I found it was being repeated on Channel 4, Monday night. Why was this obscenity screened again when it caused such an upset the first time? A record number of callers complained. Children as young as six were exploited in the making of this distasteful, unfunny, pornographic garbage. TV is becoming a Satanic cesspit, a big turn-off!

It's not about paedophilia, you daft prude.
It's about the media coverage of paedophilia --
a starkly different subject. Maybe you can't
tell the difference and think that the media
is a beacon of sanity in this crazy world, in
which case go back to reading the Daily Express.
Their coverage of this topic will suit you
down to the paedestrian crossing.

Hasn't your TV got an 'off' button?

If you don't like it, DON'T WATCH IT THEN!! Then you won't get offended will you??

More people (thousands) phoned in congratulating Channel 4 than complained.

And a lot of the people bleating about it hadn't even seen it, including government ministers, which rather invalidates their complaint.
