Sixty thousand men and women converged on Tel Aviv's Rabin Square Saturday evening for the largest demonstration of the peace camp since the beginning of the Intifada.
The demonstration, held under the slogan "Pull out of the territories for the sake of Israel", is guarded by 1,500 policemen.
Among those scheduled to speak in the demonstration are Meretz MK Yossi Sarid, former minister Dr. Yossi Beilin, novelist Amos Oz and entertainer Dudu Topaz.
Singer Yaffa Yarkoni, who is set to sing, is accompanied by several body guards, following threats to her life, made after she voiced criticism on IDF operations in Jenin.
"You can tape me while I sing," she told a reporter. "I'm not talking (to the press) any more," she added.
